Frontend design system

Performance optimization goals continuously required partial redesigns of Thermondos website. When I joined the Startup as inhouse UX / UI Designer files and designs were stored and spread over various design tools, many of them based on print designs and guidelines. Documenting the UI design in Adobe XD following a design system approach allowed the establishment of a common language between design and frontend development. Prototyping and the UX teams response to user and business needs became significantly faster.
